At the Danville Family YMCA, there are many opportunities for personal growth through group exercise. Group Exercise is proven to keep motivation high and bring results. Try a class or if you already are a ‘regular’ try something new!

Combo – fun, energetic cardio work out using floor aerobics, kick boxing, and minimal step to get your heart rate up and blood flowing
Step/Cardio Mix – a blend of step aerobics and other activities that will provide an all-over work out.
20/20/20 – evenly distributed cardio – floor, kickboxing, step – and weight training that assures a complete workout with calorie burn.
Zumba – Latin based rhythms mixed with other beats create an hour long cardio blast that is FUN – join the party!
African Drum and Dance – African based rhythms and the beat of drums will inspire movement to bring results.
R30 – Everyone finishes first in this 30 minute cardio | calori blast pedalling on the bike.
Pilates – a core based strength workout that targets muscles that inspire great posture and core strength.
Quick Abs - a shortened version of a core workout that increases all around core strength.
Yoga – either with POWER or in a more gentle form, a stretch based workout that increases flexibility and strength and increases your sense of balance.
H.I.T. – High Intensity Training, get into this boot camp/interval feel class with intense moves to get results. Great trainers will lead you to your personal best.
Weights in Motion – a full body workout that uses weights & cadio moves to get results in all muscle groups.
Group Power – 60 minute barbell program strengthens all major muscles in a motivating group setting.
Silver Sneakers – a great chair based workout for the older adult population. Energy, movement, and strength combine in this great workout.
Silver Sneakers Stretch – a yoga based class for older adults, enhances flexibility and balance.
Zumba Gold – Zumba for the older generation – come party with your peers in this fun, dance based class!
